ParaNexus World Alliance Program

"ParaNexus World Alliance Partner" is a designation given to qualifying independent Paranormal Research groups who take a serious and professional approach to helping clients resolve paranormal activity as well as conducting research. ParaNexus, as a professional organization, will only consider groups who have demonstrated competence in conducting paranormal investigations and who desire to make meaningful contributions to the paranormal field.

The primary purpose of the ParaNexus World Alliance Partners is to assist clients who are experiencing severe, disturbing, or frightening paranormal activity. Partners must assist clients in an unbiased, logical, scientific, and professional manner. ParaNexus World Alliance Partners are dedicated to resolving paranormal issues by interviewing those affected and investigating the events being reported in an attempt to discover the truth behind the events. Partners also attempt to provide comfort, understanding, coaching, and resolution to those being affected.

All certified Partners must successfully complete an approved Paranormal Investigator Certification Course and then be screened by ParaNexus administration. ParaNexus World Alliance Partners are given priority to client referrals. No fee is required.

Applicants must submit a copy of their Standards and Protocols, a typical case report, and two examples of evidence analysis such as photos, video, and/or EVP. Applicants may alternately supply a web link that contains all such information.

ParaNexus World Alliance Partners support the following investigation approach in order of priority:

  1. HELP THE CLIENT: We desire to discover how the alleged paranormal events are impacting the witnesses, and to discover how the effects can be resolved. In other words, we want to discover the relationship between the events and the people who experience them. This information will help us help them as well as draw out the underlying truth of the event.

  2. Help the entity or spirit (if possible/applicable): We desire to also assist spirits or entities helping them in crossing-over, assisting in resolving any unfinished business that keeps them earthbound, or assisting them in overcoming their fear of moving on.

  3. FIND ANSWERS: To discover, document, and prove/disprove/explain the paranormal event as progressive paranormal investigators and researchers, parapsychologists, or psychically gifted individuals, thus gaining insight into human condition and the greater mysteries of our Universe.

World Alliance Partner Qualification Criteria:

  • The group’s leadership must be of sound and balanced mind, possess good moral character, and demonstrate common sense and rational thinking regarding paranormal research.

  • The group must be at least one year old, have at least three active members, and have conducted at least 5 investigations.

  • Eligible groups must demonstrate an above average ability to accurately and rationally analyze photo, video, and audio evidence.

  • The group’s core investigative members must be CPI certified—this means all members who actively participate in investigations. New core members must become CPI certified within 60 days of joining the group. Only approved courses qualify as “CPI certified.”

  • The group must maintain a professional primary website with a proper domain name (MySpace and Meet Up groups do not count as a primary website). Proper domain names include "www.YOURGROUPSITE.com/net/org" etc., or "subdomain.YOURGROUPSITE.com" etc.

  • The group Founder(s) must be a member(s) of ParaNexus and CPI/CFPI certified within 60 days of being accepted as a World Alliance Partner. (Please Note: The CFPI Course has not yet been released. You may apply provided you agree to complete the CFPI course within 60 days of its release which is currently slated for Summer 2008.)

  • The group must have an established set of Standards and Protocols (or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)) that reflects professionalism, organization, progressive scientific thinking, and an unusually deep comprehension of paranormal phenomena and investigations. Furthermore, eligible Groups must show evidence of upward, open, and forward thinking that is not given to superstitious beliefs, e.g., “demonology” or any other religiously based predispositions.

  • Eligible groups must actively seek to resolve alleged paranormal activity reported by clients to be considered for membership as World Alliance Partners. In other words, we will not consider groups whose sole purpose is simply to watch/observe ghosts, and/or gather data. We desire groups whose investigation priorities are: 1) Help the client; 2) Help the spirit (if applicable); 3) Find answers and gather data.

  • Groups who show evidence of religious bias/superstition or, conversely, unreasonable scientific bias will not be considered for membership as World Alliance Partners. We are looking for balanced and open-minded groups who investigate the paranormal without preconceived notions, and who seek to rule out natural explanations before exploring paranormal explanations.

  • Certified Partners must post and upload all evidence and a final case report for all ParaNexus referrals in the appropriate forum within 30 days of the referred investigation.

  • Partners must display the official Certified World Alliance Partner banner prominently on the front page of their websites with a link back to ParaNexus.org.

  • Eligible groups must endorse and adhere to the ParaNexus International Standards for Paranormal Research and Investigation (ISPRI) (due for release Summer 2008).

  • The group must adhere to ParaNexus’ Charter, Bylaws, and Code of Ethics.
