I was goofing around with Google Earth, waiting for documents to upload to Scribd (4 hours, still going).  Did you know that Area 51 has a pretty impressive baseball diamond?  Complete with dug outs.  Now there's something you won't see on the Discovery or Sci Fi Channels.  Kind of make you wonder when they have time to play ball and who the play with.  Any whostle blowers care to comment? lol.

Isn't there a famous line from the Movie, Field of Dreams, "That if you built it, they will come?"

Well I can tell you from experience... You need something to take you mind off of work, especially when it comes to soldiers in a confined space for extended periods of time.  They probably go with intramural, since they aren't going to go against the Yankees anytime soon and they probably won't ever invite anyone in to compete against.

American tax dollars hard at work providing entertainment, so that those Joe's (soldier speak, meaning: average soldiers/workers) can keep doing their job.  As a civilian I can see the questions but as a soldier I understand the justification.  I'm just impressed that they let google earth get that close!

They need to water the outfield though, looks a little patchy.
