Magic, as the word suggests is an illusion which cheats your vision, thoughts and subconscious! When I began to research on Black Magic, I had a similar thought in my mind that 'Black Magic' is an illusion which darkens an individual's thoughts to feel negative about his life. I thought that wicked magic is just an art to make a person feel negative about everything in life and to witness something illusionary.

In January 2010, I met a Tantrik who said he can detail me about Black Magic. Being a researcher, I did not want to miss this chance and followed him to learn what he claimed to know.

He told me that Magic is not only illusion but there are many shortcuts in life which we seldom know. The power of belief is the strongest tool in the practice of black magic followed by the shortcuts which can manipulate the principal of general physics. He said, for an example,  Water is formed when Hydrogen and Oxygen combine. Likewise, there are many chemical reactions taking places in the universe to create things which we need to live. There are many other creative and distructive factors in the universe which ancient science had once discovered but have been forgotten under the modern scruitiny of science. Black magic and Tantra are just the practice of such shortcuts in life to manipulate and create things.

I was quite impressed with the knowledge he acquired and the convincing facts he told me about such practices. But, I wanted to know if there existed a shortcut to create matters and to manipulate physical things then why do people speak about the use of Spirits, Demons and Ghosts in such practices?

" Would a poor person want to fulfill his desires to be rich and enjoy the worldly pleasure after his death? " May be Yes! We dont inslave any spirits to follow what we say, rather we direct those greedy spirits to fulfil their desires through a living person."

His reply made me really interested in going forward to research more on Black Magic. I investigated around 42 such cases where the clients suspected Black Magic.

What made me astonished that all these cases had similar stories. The person or the family experiencing Black Magic phenomena had many common indications such as:

Disturbed sleep, Fatigue, fear, hopelessness, irritation without any reason, sudden anger, severe depression, dry throat and mouth at night, increased thirst, sudden chills and goosebumps, obesity, tightness around body parts, memory loss, irrational behaviour, blockage in money inflow, accidents in family etc and sudden deaths.

There are also cases in which people also witness entities in their own house, hear foot-steps, giggles, bangs, apportation/asportation of things, scratches on body, hair pull or have even seen full body apparitions on their beds, rooms or corridors even in the day time.

I also studied a few cases where decent, normal and intelligent person has started taking drugs suddenly, gone mad, dream of dead bodies, dream of snakes and dirty places, dreams of falling from heights, see black dots or smoke flying all over, face extreme hunger, hyper libido, constant headache, darken complexion, itching,burning in different parts of body,  substance abuse, suicide attempts and irrational behaviour.

In the case of women, who claimed to have been a prey of Black Magic,  complained of black/blue marks around their arms, thighs and private parts. Severe pain in the lower back or shoulders as if they have been hit by a hammer, complete stop/irregularity in their monthly periods, irritation and diseases in their private parts, extreme sense of fear, anxiety, extreme emotions etc.

There have also been cases where people have complained of seeing crows crossing their path and dropping piece of flesh whenever they move out of their house.

These all symptoms may or may not be because of medical/mental factors but the SIMILARITY in all those 42 cases really made me think that the art of Black Magic holds a little truth atleast for the people who are suffering with such vegaries.
