HAUNTED SUICIDE POINT, KODAIKANAL, TAMILNADU (INDIA)

Besides its natural beauty, kodaikanal, tamilnadu, is famous for a haunted suicide point. 

People always have a negative feel when they visit the suicide point which is exclusively for committing suicides! 

A number of people have died at the suicide point both willingly or by accident. Many of the local people say that there is a strong negative force which fulls the makes people  commit suicide. The place has been fenced now. No one dares to go down the valley  which is about 6000 feet , except the two local guys who does the job for bringing up the dead bodies of the people who committed suicide.

When these two guys were interviewed by a tv channel, they said that when they have to go down to bring the bodies, they usually get drunk while going down as the bodies fell from such a height were found in a very horrible condition. 

Some times the stomach of the dead bodies are torned, eyes and limbs missing. 

They carry lemons after doing poojas so that they are not haunted by those dead spirits. 

One of the guys said that sometimes the body which they carry in a bag becomes really very heavy to lift and only they use lemon it comes back to normal. 

They never stay there at night, since weird sounds, screams, and cries are heard.

One of the most famous reported  incident is about the mother who committed suicide with her child. 

So a guy from kerala tried to commit suicide but luckily got saved by a tree and was hanging in that tree  for 4 days. 

He mentioned seeing the mother and child looking at him and also heared sound of anklets and many other paranormal sightings. 

The guys was rescued but he lost his hands and legs. He said that the experience still haunts  him!
